GAMBLER NOW ADDED TO JOLLY-FEST LINE UP
Three piece rock covers band Gambler have joined the growing list of bands to play at our first Jolly-fest. Lets hope the weather holds out for us all!!

We had a fantastic night with the very talented Andrew Allen last night (Thursday 28th Aug) & we are delighted to announce that Andrew is to support Heavy Weather on the 4th September. He will be onstage at 9pm so be early!!
STATED QUO (Ex STATE OF QUO) BOOKED FOR 23rd OCTOBER
Great news for all Quo fans out there! The excellent Quo tribute 'Stated Quo' have just confirmed Thursday 23rd October. The band consist of three members of the much acclaimed STATE OF QUO, probably the best Quo tribute in the UK, plus a new 'Parfit' guitarist. Knowing Mike & the lads it's going to be one hell of a great night of classic Quo songs. Being a mad Quo I just can't wait for the night to arrive!! (Seeing the 'Real' Quo at Llandudno on Monday 29th September!!)

BEARDSMITH TO START MONTHLY RESIDENCY
Great news for all you Beardsmith fans (and there are hundreds of you, including me!!). The band have decided to play the Jolly Tar every month, on a Thursday, starting in October. The dates they are to play are July 17th, then monthy on October 9th, November 13th & December 11th. As of 2009 they will play the third Thursday of every month
Please note that, although this is a great offer, the hotel is situated in Crewe which is some 8/9 miles away from the Jolly Tar
LATEST JOLLY NEWS
A new acoustic night is to start on July 8th & then every Tuesday (except last Tuesday of month which is an open darts competition) Terry Dwyer & guests will be running an informal, relaxed & easy on the ears electric/acoustic night on Tuesdays, starting a little earlier than normal, at 9.00pm. You can just come down & enjoy the music or join in. For more details ring Terry on 07770 908141 or just call in one Tuesday!!

JAM NIGHT
Thanks to all for supporting the Jam nights, they are going from strength to strength with some great acts playing everything from solos to six piece bands!! Sundays are becoming a very enjoyable night.The last jam night was the best turnout so far with around 70 people either enjoying just watching the bands or wanting to play! Thanks to all the lads from Storm who run the nights for us & provide the P.A. etc. & thanks to all the musicians who turn up on a regular basis! Looking forward to next weeks!!
LATE NIGHT TAKE-AWAY FOOD MENU!
Following quite a few requests we have decided to provide a small selection of food in our late night take-away menu.There's Piza, Burgers, Chips etc available from 11pm to Midnight from Fridayto Sunday. Click on 'food menu' button & then the 'take-away' button for more details.
FOOTBALL
Although we don't have Sky T/V at the moment (due to the £5000+ price per year cost of it!) we do show all the live matches that are shown free, including the Freeview channels, plus we show Match of the Day on Saturday evenings & Sunday evenings. We would love to have Sky & we are considering having it installed if there seems to be enough demand for it. What do you think? send us an email!! Guiness is our stout brand & finally Strongbow is the cider.
We aslo carry stocks of bottled lagers, beers & alcopops ect along with a range of wines.
